Social Issue: L.B.G.T

The image “http://www.thewordofgeorge.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/irangayexecution1.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.(this is in iran about 2 guys who wanted to be with eatch other and when officials found out, well you can figure out the rest.)

I think that although these country's don't think that being gay is right they shouldn't take away someone's life or throw them in jail. These HUMAN beings are just the same as everyone else. They breathe the same air and they are apart of our community and what not.

Introducing Documentaries: Storm

In this documentary they had a few actors and 3-4 settings. To create this documentary they had to gather the kinds of people they wanted to play as the different characters. I noticed that in this documentary the color was sepia, and the song was a lullaby(Rockabye to be exact), they had facts in the beginning and they had the names of the cast in the end. Well i would say my favorite part of this documentary was when the Joey shot himself. I don't say this to be rude or anything i just think that it would probably be better to not face anybody at all. In the documentary Joey's father was very skeptic about bulling in his school. Well if I were the one who directed and wrote the scripts(if there were any), then I would have let the bully bleed instead of Joey. I would change this because then it would show the anger and rage Joey built up over the period of time of being bullied. My response to documentaries are different to those of other media because of the input in a documentary and the idea. Documentaries are very, hm, inspiring because it is filled with first person facts, well most of them are.

Blog Critique

Anne Frank was a very remarkable person. Although she lived very complex, she still managed to stay humble. But, I feel that she is a very boring person. The reason I feel this is because back then there are no interesting things that I would be into. Maybe if i were an adult or maybe if i was more into the Holocaust, more into wanting to know about the people's perspectives, then maybe I would find her story a little interesting.

I can relate to maybe 1 or 2 things with Anne. Like one is with her mom. Me and my mom don't get along as greatly as we'd both like and every time we try to extent or relationship, it ends up in pieces.

One part in the story that was very petrifying was when they had to hide inside the "Secret Annex" because there were buglers who took their coupons and their money. They had to hide under the door and listen in. LOL! Anne even fell aslep for half an hour.

I recommend this book ONLY because the ending of it is very deep and emotional. If you want to sit through haours of boredem be my guest. This book is a good class book because if you read it by yourself either you'll be stuck in a sentence, word, or just stuck in your own world.

Book Club: Authors Voice

I think that Dakota Fanning will be best for Anne Frank's role because Dakota can conquer the traits that Anne contains. Also I think that Dakota Fanning is great for the job because she is an admired actress.

Short Story Introduction

"BRING ME THE GIRL!!" roared a deep unplesent voice.
"But Sire we don't know where to look" shakily said the creature .
"Get me the girl is all I ask, Try your best to bring her alive" replied the deep voice more calm.
"But Sire-" repeated the creature before he got cut off.
"Do you take me for a fool? Of course you don't know where to look," the deep voice said annoyed."Yet"

Men By Maya Angelou

I can relate to the message in this poem because now and days some guys only want you just to use you. You think they really want to love you and treat you the way your suppose to be treated but they don't. The first time you meet them they are sweet and kind to you, then they switch up and start being a different person. Then when you avoid, or as guys say it, "frunt," then they want to curse you out and try to degrate your dignity in front of everybody. "it is your juice
That runs down their legs. Staining their shoes," I feel that this statement in the way you read it, can be sexual, but i think that its deeper than that. I think she feels as if the girl gave her all and when the guy hurt her it effected him in a way.
